Curriculum

What does the course include?

The course covers the main areas of competition preparation. The focus is on practical application and coaching programming.

Competition Season Physiology

You learn how energy deficit and body composition changes affect the hormonal regulatory system and energy metabolism during a competition diet.

Competition Condition Assessment

You determine individual goals based on sport criteria and assess athlete readiness to compete.

Sports Nutrition and Competition Diet

You program energy-restricted, high-protein diets. You aim to reduce body fat mass and prevent muscle mass loss.

Training Programming

You plan the total load of strength and aerobic training. You aim to maintain muscle mass during an energy deficit and meet sport criteria.

Psychological Coaching

Competition diets and body image dissatisfaction burden athletes mentally. You address motivation, self-determination theory, and overall athlete well-being.

Peak Week and Off-Season

You manage peak week methods and anti-doping rules, and you program the off-season. You aim to recover the body from physiological changes caused by the diet.

"The course covers the entire competition preparation and recovery process based on research evidence. It goes beyond basic diet and training programming."
